Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up?

To sign up, please call the shop at (234) 360-3611. We recommend reserving your spot as early as possible, as workshops tend to fill up quickly. Payment is required at the time of registration and can be made over the phone or in person using a credit card.

What do I wear?

The hotshop can get quite warm, so we recommend wearing layered clothing that can be easily added or removed as needed. Long sleeves that can be rolled up or down are ideal. For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes are required—this includes avoiding sandals and Crocs. Please also avoid loose or dangling hairstyles, sleeves, or jewelry. Aside from these guidelines, feel free to wear whatever you’re comfortable in!

Do I need experience?

No prior experience is necessary. All of our workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly, and our experienced instructors will guide you through each step of the process.

Can I take my project home with me?

Glass projects need to cool slowly in our annealing oven overnight to ensure they set properly and safely. Completed pieces will be labeled with each participant’s name and will be ready for pickup on Sunday (for Saturday workshops) and Wednesday (for Sunday workshops or if a Saturday pickup was missed).

You do not need to check in with staff to retrieve your project—simply pick it up from the designated shelf near the restroom at your convenience.

Should I tip?

While tipping is not required, it is always appreciated. If you enjoyed your experience and would like to show your support, gratuities can be given in cash (preferred) or added to your payment via credit card. Thank you for your consideration!

How many people can I sign up?

Weekend workshops accommodate up to 5 participants per time slot, with select workshops limited to 4.

If you have a group of 6 or more, you’re welcome to inquire about booking a private event. Private sessions can accommodate up to 12 participants and are typically held on weekday evenings starting at 5:00 PM. Please call us for availability and scheduling details.
