Sansevieria
Sansevieria, now officially reclassified as Dracaena trifasciata, is best known by its classic nickname: Snake Plant. It’s one of the most beginner-friendly and resilient houseplants out there—tough, striking, and nearly impossible to kill.
Watering Tips
Water every 2–4 weeks, depending on your environment. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. In winter, cut back even more—maybe once a month or less.
light requirements
Thrives in bright, indirect light, but can also do low light or shade. Direct sunlight may cause leaf burn if it’s been living in dim light. Great for offices, bedrooms, or any corner that needs a tough green touch.
Tips & tricks
Tolerates dry air, making it great for apartments or places with HVAC systems. Prefers temperatures of 65–85°F. Avoid cold drafts or temps below 50°F.
info
Mildly toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Can cause nausea, vomiting, or gastrointestinal discomfort—keep out of reach of curious pets and toddlers.
